A $32 billion-a-year industry, human trafficking is on a continuous rise and happens in all 50 states. It is the fastest-growing organized crime in the United States, and a multi-million dollar industry in Washington, D.C. alone. Every year, 300,000 children are forced into prostitution and pornography.
This is why we have released the End It Bracelet in support of Love146 to highlight the need to do everything we can to end child trafficking and exploitation. The End It Bracelet represents your commitment to helping end sex trafficking.
Every bracelet purchased donates $5 to help prevent child trafficking & exploitation, providing care for survivors and empowering a growing education-based movement.
Together, we help support the building and expanding of safe homes and help preventional education programs reach children before traffickers do. Love146 has equipped thousands of U.S. children in classroom and community settings, with strategies to recognize vulnerabilities and protect themselves and their peers from exploitation.
Cause Bracelets are not just cute colored bracelets. We believe in clearly displaying to the world what you stand for in order to create a space for positive, nonaggressive conversation helping other people ask themselves, “well what can I, my friends and family do to help solve this issue?” We've seen it time and time again, someone will ask, “where’d you get that bracelet? What is it for?” BOOM you have a creative opening to raise awareness.
This is why we have created a brand that clearly and proudly represents important causes all over the world!
Child victims of trafficking are recruited, transported, transferred, harbored or received for the purpose of exploitation. They may be forced to work in sweatshops, on construction sites or in houses as domestic servants; on the streets as child beggars, in wars as child soldiers, on farms, in traveling sales crews or in restaurants and hotels. Some are forced to work in brothels and strip clubs or for escort and massage services.
Child sex trafficking victims could be anyone regardless of social-economic status, race, or gender.
They span a wide age range from 1 to 18 years old. Sex trafficking victims up to roughly 25 years old most often started as young as 14. Children are trafficked out of, or into the United States from all regions of the world and represent a variety of different races, ethnic groups, and religions. They may be brought to the U.S. legally or smuggled in.
Trafficked children can be lured to the U.S. through the promise of school or work with the promised opportunity to send money back to their families. Vulnerable to kidnappers, pimps, and professional brokers, some children are even sold to traffickers by their families, who may or may not have an understanding of what will happen to the child. U.S. born children are also trafficked within the U.S and come from or trafficked within both city and rural areas.
Together we CAN make a difference. We can do what matters. Every End It Bracelet helps us support Love146’s mission to end child trafficking and exploitation through survivor care and prevention in Asia, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
Our goal is that this cause will truly matter to EVERYONE DAILY. Childhood slavery can no longer be a quarterly news recap. Its importance can no longer just trend for a month. THIS HAS TO MATTER EVERY DAY until every child is safe. This is why we have released the End It Bracelet in support of Love146 to highlight the urgent need to do everything we can to end child trafficking and exploitation.
