What is it for?” BOOM you have a creative opening to raise awareness.
This is why we have created a brand that clearly and proudly represents important causes all over the world!
Did you know that bees produce nearly three-quarters of the plants that produce 90% of the world’s food? Yes. Bees are at the heart of our survival. One in three bites of food we eat depends entirely on bees – and they are dying out.
Bees are vital for the preservation of ecological balance and biodiversity on our earth, yet since 2006 they are disappearing at an alarming rate due to the excessive use of pesticides in crops and specific parasites that only reproduce in bee colonies. It is undeniable that the extinction of bees could quite possibly mean the near end of humanity.
The extinction of bees will affect plants, animals, availability of fuels, topography, clothing and of course, human life. Less production of food crops will ultimately lead to worldwide famine and hunger. Poverty will be extremely common because of this.
Currently, a third of the world’s food production depends on bees. Freshwater will start drying up as well as, as there will be fewer trees for water retention to occur. With less water and diminishing food, it is not a far fetched notion that humans will begin to die of thirst and starvation. Fertility would also suffer a setback, followed by a drop in reproduction rates.
Ultimately, without bee pollution, we will not be able to sustain life and would be forced into extinction within a few hundred years. Those are the facts.
Together we CAN make a difference. That is why we’ve released the Bee Preservation Bracelet in support of The Honeybee Conservancy to highlight the urgent need to preserve what is left of the vulnerable bee species.
Every bracelet purchased donates $5 to help places bees in gardens and urban farms that actively grow fresh produce for schools, soup kitchens, senior citizen centers, and low-income neighborhoods.
